He built Facebook and acquired Instagram not to be a defender of Free Speech, but to make a lot of money. It is naive to think that these billion-dollar companies would diminish the power of the state. When the hand of the state falls to these companies, they quickly align themselves with the government for fear of reprisal or even extinction. Elon Musk, a defender of freedom of expression, did not support his opinion and paid the fine to return to operating in Brazil. What I see is that these companies are actually extensions of the government's plans.
