When in September 2021 BCash quietly ended their P2P trading platform (local.bitcoin.com) they sent their users to LocalCryptos. Now LocalCryptos (which started out as LocalEthereum.com, before rebranding to LocalCryptos) is shutting down.
This leaves only a few non-custodial KYC-free trading platforms, which include: Hodlhodl, LocalCoinSwap, Bisq, RoboSats. Peach also would fit that category but they are still in closed beta.

Nope. There's a brief moment of custody while the exchange is taking place. But other than that you can use it directly with your node. I believe RoboSats operates in a similar way.
