I seemed to have missed Round 7 last week so it will be a double recap this week as we follow the ABL season of the Bitcoin baseball team.

In Round 7 the Heat faced off against the Adelaide Giants. They ended up splitting the series 2-2. The Heat won the first game 8-4, but lost the next two 5-2 and 8-0, before earning the series split in the final game with a 4-3 win. After round 7, the Heat's record was 13-15 and were tied for 4th place.

In Round 8 the Heat faced off against the Melbourne Aces. They earned another 2-2 series split in this one. The Heat once again started hot, winning the first game 11-5, but just like round 7 dropped the next two games. They lost the second game 8-5 and the third 5-4. An incredible offensive outburst secured them the series split as they won the 4th game 14-1. After round 8, the Heat's record is 15-17 and they remain tied for 4th place.

Next up the Heat will face off against the Canberra Cavalry in round 9.
