I just used Bitpay with lightning as payment method on Newegg.
I had to KYC to be able to spend 100$ but aside for that, the experience was very good.
Super fast, and the exchange rate is not that bad.
Just letting you know that Bitpay is working well. :)
Imagine having to go through KYC to pay your food with cash.

Bitpay suck. As a merchant they're super difficult to deal with, we ended the relationship.
Are you still accepting bitcoin ?
The project is kinda dead now but once we pick it back up we'll implement lightning login / remove the paypal option / add lightning payments using a btcpay server.
Nice. Have you looked into PayWithMoon? It's ridiculously easy to pay on any (US-based) site, and you don't have to deal with anything KYC related. Just a thought, for future reference!
I'm located in Canada, but good to know, also purse.io is taking lightning. :)

100% agreed, I did the KYC to test the service, but is kind of terrible to identify yourself for trivial shopping.
