I've been practicing volleyball since more than a year. I started too late for my age, because in this sport time is everything, I know people who has been playing since they were five years old (I always feel I little envious of that)
something about volleyball is that is a sport, both physical and mental, you can easily train your body but the mind is harder to train
our coach told us that the worst enemy that we have is our own mind, and this is something I've been struggling with and it has hindered my evolution as a player. I won't say that I'm the best player of my team, but when I'm feeling good I play very well
this year, I've made it my mission to work on my mindset more than I work on my physical endurance. and so far I can say that it has gone quite well and I have seen great changes in my training
now, talking more on the health side. someone once said: you are what you eat. when you practice a sport, food and how you lead your lifestyle are very important. again, I won't say I'm the fittest person in the world, because I'm not. But, I have also tried to eat healthier and things that are more beneficial to my sport and lifestyle
I truly feel that 2025 is a year of change, and I promise myself that I'm going to improve in many ways for my health
tell me, are you planning on changing something about your life this year?
