I have been casually doing mocks for weeks now but haven't posted one.

This is the first really good one I have done with trades. Traded back from 11 to 19 and picked up 51 and 241. Traded back from 43 to 44 and picked up 188.

Very happy with this draft. My only critique is I doubled up on CB because 49ers need depth at corner but I probably should have taken a CB earlier and I don't mind a LB late if they re-sign Greenlaw but if he leaves in FA then LB because a position of need and should be addressed earlier.

@Undisciplined I even managed to give Kyle his versatile RB who can run, pass catch, block and even play a little of Juice's role if he retires. A bit small for a FB but Juice doesn't play a traditional FB role anyways. He is more of a blocking and pass catching FB than a short yardage power runner. Skattebo can slot into the RB rotation and get some FB snaps as well. They have a huge TE Mason Pline that they red shirted this year that could play the role some teams use with their TEs running on short yardage downs.

He is 33 turning 34 before next season. I don't think they will cut him but it's a possibility. He took less money to stay so I think he will be back one more year. If he does come back they can still find room for another back even if they stash him on IR all year. Shanahan loves doing that. If he has a rookie that he knows won't get playing time he will just put him on IR for the season and toll his year of service. Surprised the NFL hasn't cracked down on this.

49ers have 2 starting CB but they need depth. I should have addressed it earlier.

OLine and DLine more of a priority right now. They have their two starting corners for the next four years with Lenoir and Green but they definitely need more depth. I wouldn't be against a third round corner. I think they have a third round comp pick.

Agree. I think they will take a corner in the first four picks. It also depends on what they do in FA and who they bring back. If they don't re-sign Hufunga they will definitely need to address safety within the first 4 or 5 picks as well.

Running is back in fashion in the NFL and Defenses are getting more creative and exotic in terms of blitzes. I don't think you can overcome a poor OLine anymore. Need at least a top 10 OLine to compete for a SB.

Shanahan's theory has always been he can make up for a weak OLine with scheme and it worked for a while. I don't think anymore. Half the league runs a similar scheme.
