happy 2025 bookish people of stacker news! i hope all of you have been well in your first 12-13 days of the year.

as you well know, writing has been playing a big role in my life as of late. with a goal in mind to finish the first draft in march, here are some books i want to read and reread throughout the time in between for inspiration and entertainment.

i want to dive more into dystopian literary fiction this year, which is why the poppy war and manacled made it onto the stack. manacled is HP fanfic, but the author is coming out with the official published version in an original world and characters with relatively the same plot in the fall (and probably my most anticipated read of the year) which i am super excited about.

fantasy is always dear to me so had to throw in those to read again too. :)
