With fires still burning in Los Angeles after several days, some have been accusing politicians of mismanaging resources and making the fires worse.

My suspicion is that a lot of the attacks on Gavin after this episode are designed to foil any attempt he has to run for President. It seems from the things that I have read that many people are hopeful that it will work and he will not be able to run for president.
