Wild video of a man that refused to passively watch his home built and passed down from his parents go up in flames. He saved two other houses as well.

Over and over again I've been told how taxes are not theft that they go to pay for our protection and over and over again I see those taxes dollars wasted and the government fail to do their jobs. This guy gets it. Its a sad reality that the government we are told is for and by the people will not save you.

Looks like he was prepared but it could have turned out very differently. Much of Australia suffers from similar situations. Some people try to save their houses and don't always make it.

Its super risky.

No kidding.

Amazing level of personal responsibility taken here.

Salt destroys equipment. This is the main reason sea water isn't being used.

reply

LOL so you really think that in matter of minutes the salt is destroying the equipment... cmon man, don't throw me that bullshit, salt water is not acid.
So you will prefer to watch your house burning down but not hosing salt water on it because will destroy your hose LOL

reply

No, I'm explaining why the fire fighters don't use salt water. They COULD use it but they don't. Salt water is not acid for sure but their equipment has to last for many years because of how poorly the state manages fire fighting efforts. You would be surprised by the corrosive power of salt.

The state is terrible at doing what people think they are good at. I'm not saying they could not figure out a way to make it work. They could. They won't. If it were privately controlled we'd see real consequences and innovation.

I think that in a free society we would not have a problem with water in California. Desalination would be done and would be a profitable business. Fire fighting would be better. It would likely all be better.

sure, but there's a big difference: who creates, controls

reply

I don't know what your point is and how it relates to what I'm talking about. Seems like you are talking to yourself.

The state will not save you. I don't care who created it or who controls it. It can't. Period.

Yep, was never there to save us.
i might be talking to myself, but, people can join forces for mutual benefit, like, declare independence and such. and the same people can get decieved to bend the knee to an imposter government pretending to be the former

reply

Exactly. That is the solution. People voluntarily working together.

Wow! He is tough as nails and was prepared. I have friend who lost both his houses in the Palisades and watched one of his houses burn down on his ring camera.
