I asked Leo because I had no idea what nootropics were. This is the answer:

Natural vs. Chemical Nootropics

Nootropics can be both natural and chemical. Natural nootropics are derived from plants, herbs, and other organic sources, while chemical nootropics are synthesized in a laboratory.

Natural Nootropics

Some examples of natural nootropics include:
  • Bacopa Monnieri: An herb used in traditional Ayurvedic medicine to enhance memory and cognitive processing speed.
  • Ginkgo Biloba: A plant extract that improves blood flow to the brain, boosting memory and cognitive function.
  • Acetyl-L-Carnitine (ALCAR): An amino acid that supports the health of neurons and has been shown to improve memory and cognitive function.
  • Rhodiola Rosea: An adaptogenic herb that helps reduce stress and improve mental performance.
  • Omega-3 Fatty Acids: Found in fatty fish, these healthy fats support brain health and have been shown to improve cognitive function.
  • Curcumin: A compound found in turmeric, which has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that may help improve cognitive function.
  • Green Tea: Contains L-theanine, an amino acid that can help improve focus and reduce stress.
  • Ashwagandha: An adaptogenic herb that can help reduce stress and improve cognitive function.

Chemical Nootropics

Some examples of chemical nootropics include:
  • Piracetam: A synthetic compound that is considered one of the first nootropics.
  • Modafinil: A prescription medication used to treat sleep disorders, which has been shown to improve cognitive function and alertness.
  • Noopept: A synthetic peptide that has been shown to improve memory and cognitive function.
  • Phenylpiracetam: A synthetic compound that is similar to piracetam, but has a stronger effect on cognitive function.
It's essential to note that while natural nootropics may be considered safer, they can still interact with medications or have side effects. Chemical nootropics, on the other hand, may have a stronger effect, but can also have more significant side effects and interactions. Always consult with a healthcare professional before using any nootropic substance.

Do I consume them?

Indeed, I usually and weekly consume at least 3 of them:
  • Acetyl-L-Carnitine: from meat (twice a week)
  • Omega-3: from fish (once a week)
  • Curcumin: from turmeric (every day)
šŸ™šŸ» Thanks for letting me do this little research and learn something new today.
šŸ—£ļø If you are curious about how I consume a certain food, feel free to ask.
Oh, I emphasize that I don't have any chemical inside my body. Only natural. Nature gives us everything we need.
This is my way: no drugs, no alcohol, no chemicals

poison hemlock is a natural plant and it will kill you if you eat it lol
i would also say that these days, nature probably doesn't give you everything you need, on a basic level thanks to soil erosion, foods aren't even as nutritious.
i see what you are saying though
