As the title says, a few days ago I went out with a friend to take street photos in my city...
Usually when I do this kind of content, I go alone, so doing it with a friend this time felt special and was incredible!

This was the first photo I took that day while I was picking up my friend at his house...

And while he was getting in the car, a lady passed by on the other side of the sidewalk and I thought, 'This is a street photo':

We headed to a busy area of the city to look for interesting things to photograph and along the way we saw a couple of things.

The first thing we found was a motorcyclist with some breads tied to his bike:

We also saw a beautiful Volkswagen car:

This Jeep looked interesting!

When we arrived at one of the places we were going, the first thing we found was a street vendor and what surprised me was that he was selling a lot of candy for a very low price, to be exact 20 candies for $0.65 and he had different flavors; ginger, butter, coconut, honey and mint.

This is what a hot dog stand looks like in Venezuela:

I took the next photo because this chapel, known as "the hanged's chapel" has a very dark history...

It's not very common for me to see this type of scaffolding in my city, much less a three-story one...

At this point we were already walking around the city with our eyes wide open to anything interesting to photograph and on one of the streets I saw this gentleman who looked very cool with his hat.

Here we have many food and candy stalls on the streets, this young man was selling chicha, a very famous sweet drink in Venezuela.

I took a photo of the name of the street we were on, it looked very urban.

While I was taking the previous photo, a motorcyclist passed by and shouted from afar for me to take a photo of him, and without stopping he made this gesture and I managed to take the photo, all in a matter of seconds:

And at that same moment a family also appeared telling me to take a photo of them, it was strange but at the same time funny that so many people were so open to being photographed

The next photo, although it seems "unprepared" was their idea, who wanted me to take a photo of them naturally as they crossed the street:

I also crossed the street towards the square to look for some photos there and the first one I took was of this gentleman who had just gotten off his bike to catch his breath:

In this square chess is usually played daily so I wanted to take some pictures of that element:

It was an excellent day of street photography and the fact of going with a friend made me feel safe, I wasn't walking around scared like I normally do and I feel that it helped me to be able to take closer photos that generate a greater connection.

I hope you liked these photos as much as I did, thanks for watching!
