More Americans believe the country has stood still on two issues -- climate change and the situation for Black people -- than think it has made progress or lost ground.
Surprised by this. I mean I'm surprised they got these results.
Are you surprised because you thought more people would've said "lost ground" or "made progress"?
I think the problem with climate change and race relations is that the issues have become so fuzzy and emotional rather than factually driven, that I don't think most people could even tell you what progress in these areas means.

I'm surprised that it wasn't fewer because of the feelings aspect.
