Elias Palme & Co. was founded in 1849. From the beginning it focused on the production of luxury lighting fixtures. In addition to creative new designs, Palme also specialized in faithful reproductions of historical originals, which required detailed study of the original lamps from the Chateau de Versailles and Fontainebleau.
