Hello

The tiny little baby bird that is Arizona Winter is breathing it's cute, barely noticeable breath on me. It will not even be a memory in a month.

They have this thing here in the Winter I like to call “second night”. There is the usual night, and then about 2 hours before sunrise there is a second night, when one needs a cap and an extra blanket, unless one just insists on blasting hot air into the room. It's like a decision time for God. He decides whether to let you have the Sun again, or whether he is going to take his ball and go home. He has been pretty gracious with the giving of the days. Too bad we can't be more like that.

That second night, that's a good time to get up and write. Speaking of that, I am going to be a guest on a pretty reachy channel called Troubled Minds Radio, tonight. It is a US based New Media channel and also broadcasts on terrestrial radio in Auckland, NZ.

I will be doing a hard launch of my book, You Couldn't Resist, tonight, Thu. Jan. 16, with the Host Michael Strange, who also wrote the Foreword for the book. I did two writing Marathons, one last February, and one last August, and a bunch in between. I woke up at 3-4 in the AM and wrote a story about whatever comes to mind in those wee hours, every day for those months. Then I podcasted them, then I published them online. The book is a compilation of those stories, a few essays related to writing, and our current location in the Universe.
