I can't stand Mark Carney. He is a central banker, climate alarmist and advocate for UBI and expanding people's dependencies on government. He is well thought of by Liberal elites and is a very useful WEF puppet. His time as head of the Bank of Canada and Bank of England gives him a seat at the table with all the worst people in the world.

If he has designs on actually being Prime Minister of Canada he should probably step aside and let Chrystia Freeland get run over by the bus but he likely won't. The Conservative party are overwhelmingly the odds on favourite to win the coming election. Could Carney produce a better outcome for the Liberals than Trudeau or Freeland? Sure. Could he win? Nope.

Generally, Canadians don't kick out a PM after for years either. They usually hand them a stern warning with a minority government. So in all likelihood Carney is facing 8 years and 2 elections losses as party leader before getting a chance to be PM. That's a long time in politics to try and survive without being a winner. Most certainly the party will sour of him and they will be calling for a new leader prior to him getting his opportunity to be PM.

So why on earth would he run when he can let Freeland take the fall and run in four years? (certainly an improved result in 4 years would put him in good position to retain leadership and go for the big prize in 8) Well it is quite simple, he is an arrogant, narcissist that thinks he is better than everyone else and the country and world can't possibly function without his leadership. He is like most politicians. And you can be sure the Liberal party leadership is whispering sweet nothings in his ear about being the saviour of the party, so he can call his banker buddies to finance the election run and keep the party from falling to fourth place in the seat count (which was highly possible if Trudeau ran again).

I say have at it Mark. I hope your losses are catastrophically embarrassing and ensure a snake like you is never Prime Minister of Canada. (tell us how you really feel grayruby!).
