When my buddies get to rambunctious with their claws, I have to disengage, most times. However, our little kitty, larger now, didn’t know how to control the claws and used them on everything with abandon. I had little bloody spots from the claws all up and down my legs and hands.

yea, my cat can be super sweet with me, but he can also be cocky and awnry. he has a thing about putting your hands in front of his face, he will go to scratch you. you have to pet him strategically, and dont get me started about how good he is around other people. he's my little buddy and mostly just used to me.

Yes, they can be fun when they are not shredding everything in sight, including your hands if you give them to the cats.  I have the bad habit of giving the cats my hands when they are in the mood for shredding my hands. Sometimes it gets bloody, always mine.
