what do you do?
I don’t get headaches often, but when I do, I can usually attribute the cause to something. Busy looking after kids and haven’t had my coffee by 11am. Or I had an intense week, so the day I feel I can let down my guard and relax, my body strikes with a headache.
Today was strange. I had more sleep than usual, and I don’t think I’m going through anything stressful. But a headache started to form when it was nearing lunch time.
Usually, when I have a headache, I would just pop 1-2 Panadol pills and pray that they would take effect soon. But I don’t like the idea of being dependent on any medication in general. Maybe it’s my stupid pride. Anyway, today, because I was feeling more rested than usual, I thought I would resist the temptation of Panadol.
I just rested in my children’s playpen and tried to sleep it off, even though they were climbing all over me.
Then, my wife had to go to the supermarket to buy groceries, and so, I followed her, as per our weekend routine. Somehow, by late afternoon, my headache was gone.
Ending today with a pat on my shoulder because Sensei ain’t taking any Panadol for something as trivial as a headache lol
magnesium or salt; drink water, tea, or coffee; take hot shower—or wear these TheralICE-type things.
Cold air, sleep, or if it's light enough, just going for a walk really.
Usually they just go away. I mostly attribute them to some reaction in the body: I ate poorly, didn't move, didn't sleep well, gotta eat more salt/drink more water.

You covered everything I was going to.

I try to exceed your expectations, honorable sir!
reply
You did. Those masks weren't on my radar and I wasn't thinking about cold fresh air.

Sure you have 6.15 Bitcoin, but have you felt the joy of your kids climbing all over you in their playpen?
reply
You read it wrongly. It was 9.18 Bitcoin 👍

Where does 9.18 come from??

Would you believe if I say I never had a headache?
But it's true, I don't remember if I had other than after meeting an accident and for months after getting operated on the forehead. Also that was when I was 10 years old.
reply
Amazing! It must be all those years of non-caffeinated tea that compounds the positive effect

There are many reasons. Tea is obviously one among them. But I'd attribute it to my very easy life so far. Or, I never had to deal with any stress, or may be that I never felt it.
Our culture, our lifestyle, my upbringing, hereditary health, never smoked, drink only sometimes, has an athletic body, play sports and most importantly I take a very healthy vegetarian Indian diet. Indian Vegetarian diet is different from most will call a vegetarian diet.
