I once contemplated wrapping a piece of steel in some material, put it in a box, venture well up the mountains, dig a hole in a location only I could find—perhaps mark down the exact geolocation and put it in my will or something.
Not a bad idea for inheritance planning, I suppose.

I would have loved to see a Breaking Bad show... but set in the Bitcoin Universe. I believe some of the characters in the show faced this same exact problem (how to save capital over long time periods in a way that was very discreet)
