In Round 9 of the Australian Baseball League season the Heat faced off against the Canberra Cavalry. The Heat ended up winning the series 3 games to 1.
Here is how it played out.
Game 1: The Heat started slow, dropping a low scoring match 3-1 to the Cavalry. Despite a solid effort from SP Tucker Smith, the bats couldn't get anything going with the lone bright spot being a 2 hit game from 3B Johnny Ascanio.
Game 2: The Heat secured a solid 4-1 win in game 2. All three Heat pitchers did a great job shutting the Cavalry down and the bats did enough to secure the win. A 2 hit game from 1B Alex Hall being the standout performance of the game.
Game 3: The bats finally Heat up and the pitching stays strong as the Heat win in a laugher, 9-0. SP Dariel Fregio pitches a spectacular game going 6 shutout innings with a strikeout. The offensive outburst was highlighted by a 2 hit, including a 3 run homer game from 2B Jess Williams.
Game 4: The Heat win another blowout 8-1. The trend of outstanding pitching continues as SP Jong-Hae Won dominates and 2B Jess Williams continues his hot series with another big home run.
After 9 rounds the Heat are 18-18 and in third place in the ABL. Up next in Round 10 the Heat face off against the league leading Sydney Blue Sox. Round 10 is the final regular season series for the Heat and will give them a chance to secure their spot in the playoffs.

I know of the Bitcoin team in Perth but I don’t follow the league. It’s not a very big scene
reply
Yeah. It doesn't seem to be a big sport in Australia. The Heat have a development agreement with the Tampa Bay Rays in MLB so they have a had couple top prospects play for them.

Yeah that’s good. If you’re not seeking it out you won’t hear about it. Unlike afl , nrl and cricket
