Please legalize it all. Not because we want people to do any of that stuff, but because banning it creates more problems than it solves.

We'll it is far from through yet. They want approval from the EU first and send it to the Bundesrat (2nd parliament house representing the states) afterwards.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was an advertisement that was never meant to go through from the very beginning. And can be reused next election cycle.
But let's see what the future brings...

Actually, there is some crypto relevant news here:
Germany is a bit of a tax haven when it comes to crypto. So long as you hold for one year, gains are tax free.
But why would you move there when the residence requirements are so difficult, and with no chance of citizenship?
These changes could put Germany back on the "Plan B" map.
