I have a preferred term for them: progressive/lefty/Marxist/socialist/communist/murderers. They all look the same to me at all ranges. They all have the very sane ends in mind: you under **their total control**, or to put it another way, **your slavery**.

I think that's the problem. Progressives generally want to solve problems by just forcing people to do things.

I am not sure what kind of libertarian could work with collectivists. I don’t see much liberty when they try to control everything you do. For instance, the climate change bs and the CBDCs are not very liberty minded, that I can tell. They only come together tangentially and meet at that one spot on the curve. That is only a derivative.
