I'd like to be able to use nostr on one or two of my older phones running Android 7 for convenience when my main phone is charging or I prefer to keep the charge or something. Read only with npub and support for kind 1 events only would be enough, and no need for animations or anything really fancy. Any suggestions, please?
You might be able to use this RSS reader, which recently added Nostr support: https://github.com/spacecowboy/Feeder

I can't find the way to read nostr events. I guess I need to add a feed somehow, but I can't figure out how to do so and I can't find any documentation on it's web site, either. It looks promising and lightweight...
Have you use it to access nostr?

It makes total sense, it just didn't occur to me, and I totally missed it in the docs. Thank you. It keeps crashing while looking for the feed, though. Perhaps my phone's specs are too low. I'll keep trying to solve it, since Feeder looks cool and promising.

Interesting that previous apps for other protocols are adding nostr. I'll try it out, thanks!

Can't get it to install on Android 7. I get the "There was a problem while parsing the package" error message.
