being a Brian Johnson-level health guru can't be easy, while i am pretty dialed in on most things, i will eat fast-food if I'm in a mall and I like to have some wine or whisky on the weekend. it's nice to get buzzed and watch a movie and, while we all know booze isn't great, i find the relaxing trade-off is worth it.
what about you guys?

  • I probably chew at least 40mg of nicotine gum most days
  • binge watching fictional TV shows
  • I like contorting my body into unhealthy postures when I work/think, ie sitting on my foot, hunching forward, creating a kind of lazy and meditative discomfort
  • overeating anything, but especially cheese/butter/bread
  • overworking to the point of exhaustion
  • I got in a quite a habit of taking kratom gummies relatively recently
    • I stopped and only take about the equivalent of a beer's worth of inebriation now

My main weakness is the combination of junk food and clearance sales.
Fortunately, clearance sales are somewhat uncommon, because when I see super cheap cookies or ice cream and think that those items won't be available in the future at any price, I have a hard time resisting.

Cheese, I can't eat it in moderation. I am a connoisseur of the stuff, I love it all.
reply
what would be your top 3 cheeses?
reply

Ooooh, difficult question. I guess the first three that come to mind would be: Havarti (the creamier the better), Shropshire, and Brie de Meaux (Brie is at its best when it's made from raw milk.
Honourable mentions: Moliterno al Tartufo, Pecorino, cumin seed Gouda, and sheeps milk cheeses.
When I am out road tripping I often stop at cheese mongers and try something new. The best cheese is made from raw milk imo.

I don't know if that's unhealthy guilty pleasure but I can't restrain myself to traditional home made sweet dishes like -
Gazar (carrot) ka halwa
Choorma
Besan (gram flour) laddoos.

Alcohol is one I enjoy but it isn’t doing any benefit except the relaxed buzz it brings
No good for sleep or anything else but I do enjoy it so I have been trying not to have it the last two weeks and haven’t been to upset going without

Smoking... I reduced the amount a lot (4 per day), but after I eat it's something I haven't been able to master, and to be honest I haven't even tried.
