Can someone intentionally zap 1000 CCs even if he doesn't have CCs?
@k00b @ek

Only if they set their sending dust limit high enough. Otherwise, the only reason that would happen is if the receiver's wallet failed to make an invoice, or has no inexpensive route to their wallet/node.

Thanks.

I get it. It's send credits for zaps below in the settings, right?

This is a little susceptible feature. If many Stackers choose high limit there, wouldn't that see an overflow of CCs on SN?

reply

Overflow is a hyperbolic way of putting it, but yeah, there'd be more cowboy credits if people wanted to send more cowboy credits.

Do you see the problem now? Even though I'm spending and recieving enough but I keep losing horse and gun. The horse and the gun should not be lost when you've recieved or zapped an equal amount of CCs required.

reply

Horse and gun are related to attached wallets. CCs happen when those aren’t working or your counterparty isn’t using them.

I know it. But as I mentioned I lost them even after zapping and recieving around 2000 Sats/CCs. I recieved much more CCs yesterday and that's I think is because many Stackers are using higher dust limit while zapping. So, their sats are actually reaching to me as CCs and ultimately I lost the horse.

Anyways thank you for replying, I just hope the horse and the gun have no negative implications, they are same as the hat is.
