To be clear, I’m NOT recommending emulating them. I’m recommending improving on them.
Instead of thinking of this as a be-like-rsync post. Think of it as a post advocating for finding great external links to things.
Rsync was at their WORST when they posted links to things they didn’t use or understand.
They were 90% noise but we lost the other 10% when they left. If you can’t tell the difference between the 90 and the 10, this isn’t a call to action for you.
I often think about how discrete SN is.
It's only going to take one stacker, who's really tapped into the goings on, to bring those to us. I'm sure someone will step up before too long.
@Coinsreporter has made a few attempts at daily curated news posts. Something like that seems promising: Bitcoin News You May Have Missed (por ejempo).

Are you talking about "The Daily Zap"?
reply
That was the first, but you also tried one with sports news, right?
reply
Yeah! Thanks. I know there are only a few like you who enjoyed them. But most others here didn't even consider them to be even an effort. While TBH "The Daily Zap" usually took me around half an hour to just add the new links and the context. Plus you can include the time it took me to find out those pieces of News by searching on the web.
What many saw were just links for assmilking.
But they are not down because of the haters but they're on a break. I ran "The Daily Zap" as for experiment and TBH it was a successful attempt. I'll start posting it again after some time, this time it'll be bigger and better. The sports one will also be there for sure.

I know they're tedious to make, from my time making the This Day in Stacker News posts.
What I'm imagining is that there will be someone who's already obsessed with reading all the latest news and the only extra effort will be the time it takes to write it up.
reply
Wow! I didn't know you also did something similar.
I'm quite obsessed of reading news and that was the reason I started "The Daily Zap". I'll restart them, it's as you know I got a little busy in parenting and putting in some efforts in some other business. Just not getting enough time to read news like I used to. It's only a matter of few more days. I'll bring them back.
