Looks like one of Robert Saleh's coaches will be joining him in SF.

49ers have hired Brant Boyer as Special Teams Coordinator. If this is an indication that Saleh will have a large say in the special teams as well as the defense I think it is a good sign. Kyle Shanahan clearly doesn't care about special teams other than wasting draft capital on terrible kickers and punters so just delegate the whole thing to Saleh and his crew.
