Do you believe the hype? Or are we being hyped about this Chinese thing? My gut tells me (and I mean my gut, not anything I have seen) that in a few weeks or maybe even days we will see stories about this being hype and then over time we will see that China actually does have AI things that are competitive but its not game over just yet.
Its gonna go back and forth. I've long been skeptical about the "US lead" in AI for what its worth.

Yeah for sure. I feel old man. I see the same stuff happen over and over and the same stupid reactions over and over. Its tiring. Not just in tech or markets but in many areas. The older I get the less worked up I get about this stuff I have no control over though.
