I feel like it's a fairly arbitrary measure. We can all feel and see the tension, confusion, and pure stupidity in the world currently. A lot of this is from the food, the light, and information that we consume and it doesn't help that technology proliferates seemingly bad thinking. Echo chambers of this stupidly further accelerates the destruction of the world, but I think there is a lot of optimisim still ahead. After all, there is no bad without recognizing good. Humans have been through many ice ages and I don't think we're going to drop the ball this time (I hope)...
