It was one subject among many for an initial flurry of executive orders. Now the General Services Administration (GSA) has sixty days to deliver recommendations to President Donald Trump for “promoting beautiful federal civic architecture.”
😆 beautiful design by demand!! 😆
In response, AIA issued a statement about the EO on January 21. It said it’s “extremely concerned about any revisions that remove control from local communities or mandate official federal design preferences that hinder design freedom.” AIA also affirmed its support for GSA’s Guiding Principles, which encourage freedom in design.
Crazy to see this Executive Order to come out.
AIA is a bunch of left wing hypocrites.
First, they would oppose anything Trump supports.
Second, if Biden or Obama said we need more buildings that are "diverse, equal and inclusive", they would not only agree and praise the order, they would jerk off to it
