Bankman-Fried and Trump may share a more specific sense of injustice. US District Judge Lewis A. Kaplan, who oversaw the FTX founder’s trial and sentenced him to decades behind bars, also presided over the defamation and sexual assault lawsuits brought against Trump by New York writer E. Jean Carroll. Both Bankman-Fried and Trump have accused Kaplan of being unfair to them.

I would be surprised. It still blows my mind how few people get WHY Trump pardoned Ross. Its really simple. He did it to get libertarian and bitcoiner's votes. Period. From what I have recently heard it was pitched to him in a very appealing way as well. Fried's family is about as opposite from Ross's family as you can get. Fried's family is a wealthy well connected supporter of Democrat elites. There is literally almost no upside for Trump to pardon this guy.
Ross's mother tirelessly worked building support for her son over the past 10 years. Many people lobbied for Trump to pardon Ross. It was pitched to him in a way that appealed to his interests.
All politicians are transactional. Few are as transparently transactional as Trump. He's no idealist. He's a realist. So no, I don't see it happening.
Also its not happening with Assange either. He's freed already. And I seriously doubt he does anything for Snowden.
