When the crash happened my flight was in Virginia but about 40-50 minutes out. At 9:21 after the crash (which was at roughly 8:50) the pilot throw the engines into overtime and banked hard to the left. At that point we were right outside of the DC area and were about to begin our final descent. If that makes sense!

I either fly in with landings at 9 pm or 10 pm which this crash happened with a plane that would have landed at the same time as some of my flights
