I suspected it'd cause a loss of stackers. I'm also not sure we lost many "good ones" in the end.
We don't propagandize you all like other places tend to. You all can make up your mind for yourselves. We tend to lose the screechers and ones that don't have much of a mind of their own. (At least that's my optimistic take ... We need to start working on growth again regardless.)
When NBC moved Seinfeld to Thu after Cheers, Larry David said: if people are not watching the show on Wed night, I don't want the same people watching the show on Thu night.

I have converted a couple from reddit as well. Some on there are on the level and obviously like a forum type vibe so getting sats for what they are doing anyway win win
I discovered SN on Twitter or Reddit. I remember thinking, cool name for a site, must be an aggregator for bitcoin news
