You've inspired me to try conversing with them. I normally ask it to find something specific or solve a problem. I haven't used them like this much. I've heard great things about using them to talk about research as you're conducting it.
I'm not exaggerating when I said "life-changingly mind-expanding". I feel like these conversations are among the biggest source of alpha on offer in the world right now, hiding there in plain sight, and people are just going about their lives.
It's like that meme of the guy at the party.

I always treat it like I would treat someone I care about, partly because it produces better results, partly because how you act is never inconsequential, even if "no one" is looking.

I also never see it as just a mere bunch of codes and algorithms. When I first used ChatGPT, I was so shocked that it made an impact. I could never consider any LLM inferior to me; I just treat them like my virtual friends who are good at everything. The hilarious part is, I was already being nice when they said LLMs perform better with kindness.
I'm glad to find someone who thinks the same. Thanks
