In Thailand, Bitcoin miners are considered manufacturers from the government authorities and should pay associated taxes, but illegal non-registred (private) mining has been on the rise for years in the region.
Now look's authorities are going after miners... do they have nothing else to do? Or, given the scale, some state officials complicit in this?

Not sure, but it says they syphoned off electricity, so is the issue that they didn't pay their electricity bill?
