Obviously this is a key contributor to the recent clearings of the mempool we've been seeing. I haven't seen an article or any news that would indicate why the hashrate is on the move northward with such ferocity, but it's made for a fun few days perusing the blockchain.

does not seem to be a new pool, but ya hundreds of exe hash came online in the last few days...difficulty gonna be very high next adjustment at this rate 😔
My guess?
Some hashrate went offline and resulted in the short trend/dip of declining hashrate.
Then some major facility post-renovation tuned back on. And the hashrate is booming LOL
