I saw this interesting note on nostr about destroying the cost to access a lawyer. While I think this would be an amazing thing to for everyday people, I'm not so sure about it for making a final judgment. Making a final judgment is complicated. I'm not sure this would even be possible for an AI model to achieve as there emotional aspects are left out.
What do you think?

It'll most probably mark the arrival of AI ruling over humans.

Nope. Legalize duels again, that solves most problems.

Perhaps we could try AI judges on Americas got talent first before we let them decide who gets the chair 💺

how about an AI jury?

That might be more interesting if the models are more specialized in different fields like religious studies or law.

No, I don't want AI to replace judges... It wouldn't be fair! Only time will tell to what extent society will allow its uses!! I mean, to what extent will humanity tolerate AI...

I think of you could guarantee that it was honest and incorruptible, then I think it would be a great way for smaller communities and citadels to manage justice.
Obviously it would need to rely on some physical entity to actually uphold its judgements but I think it would be a good step forward for decentralization of justice.
