Just yesterday I was hearing my coworker talking about the corruption of the refs.

I don't think so. After this three-peat attempt runs it's course, I expect the league will push for better officiating.

They were also talking about how the players must be betting on the results, which sways the way they play.
Seems like a lot is happening in the world of sports.

There have been a few players caught betting on the games. I don't see much evidence for that in the way people are playing, though. I also don't think it matters, unless they're betting against their own team.

They made it sound like it was changing the course of the games.
I wasnt listening too intently because I was doing paperwork, but seemed like they were very upset and losing interest in the season.

Yeah, this is going to be a fairly low interest Super Bowl. I think the league made it too obvious that they were trying to get the Chiefs into the game.
