Pen and ink portrait; monochromized.

I'm quite content with the result, if I may say so myself. I wanted to quit and save what I had thrice, but managed to push through and risk ruining it. Actually digitized it at one stage and tried edits on the computer to convince myself to proceed with a final retouch. If I were to continue I'd detail out the hair with more strands to create more gray tones, as now it's basically just black and white.

I don't sketch anything btw. I immediately draw with pen. This obviously has big down sides as the risk I take on a painting is high. Somehow I prefer doing it in that fashion. Maybe because I enjoy intense pain and anxiety a lot. Dunno.
