I have a dilemma because I usually finish writing a blog post or guide at 1 or 2 PM... But it's 12:38 AM in NYC and 5:38 AM in London right now. SO I feel like I'm getting boned hard by the SN algorithm when my post gets no traction for hours on end. Generally speaking, for help by the algorithm for getting boosted as a top post, what time should I post? @k00b

It's eventually going to be The World app, yeah for now sometimes especially at night times in US I see no activity at all. But whenever I see a good post, even my 10 sat zap takes it under 'Hot' and when USA wakes up, taht post definitely gets more zaps and more traction. Keep in mind good content is subjective, may not suit to everyone's taste.

Most stackers are from the US so I guess any time when people would look at SN in the US is a good time. But don’t underestimate the impact of other countries filtering the trash while America is sleeping. I suspect good posts do well at any time.

So do I lose those sats? It looks like they didn't go to my coinos, and I don't think they're locally in my wallet, or maybe they are. But they were never received I think. Still trying to understand the mechanisms behind how the current system works. What happens when shit happens and zaps fail?
