Some people really seem to be tailored for a polarized world. All their actions and arguments are exposed in a very strong, binary and tribal way.

This seems to be one of those cases. He makes sure that he pushes away all the people that think differently, or in this case, that work in fields he doesn't like and aren't doing anything immoral or illegal.

Don't get me wrong, there are also people with similar stances on the other side of this matter.

This situation is a good example of the virtues of being a moderate person, that is capable of tolerance, understanding and that accepts that nothing is 100% good/bad. People can value different things and/or might need different solutions for certain problems.

Lots of thoughtful and articulate debate. But both sides of the debate don't understand why they are wrong.
