Yes, they are not ideal for living in- even with insulation they get very in hot weather and very cold in cold weather. They can also become damp with condensation if not vented well.

I use the curved roof container to stay in for a few days sometimes- it is lined and insulated and has tree lucerne planted on the afternoon side for shade but even with the extra roof it can still get quite hot in hot weather.
