Its terrible but shouldn't surprise us. His son in law is Netanyahu's godson. Netanyahu's party apparently supported Hamas back in the day over the PLO because they knew they would be a better foil. Ron Paul outlined this in ththe 1990s I believe. They whole thing is a mess the US should have no part in it.
All that I get why people would support this.

  2. It seems like things just are in a cycle or repeated terribleness
  3. Americans are ignorant of the history of both sides
  4. Most Americans do not respect property rights
  5. Isreal spends insane money on US political figures
  6. Evangelicals largely have a warped view of the relationship of the state of Isreal and the Bible. This has spread into other sects of Christianity sadly and distorts this whole topic
  7. Pro-Palestine people suck at making their side's points. It almost always sounds like extreme left drivel.
