I prefer the look of the old Model Y. Still, it's fun to see the iterations they've made. I've always found the road noise and suspension lacking as a passenger and it sounds like they've made improvements there. Most people talk about Tesla's as feeling like a "spaceship" and I think part of that, at least in past models, is that is it feels like you're in a tin can.
It's exciting to see cars get vertically integrated in manufacturing/software. Innovations on atoms seem to happen much faster that way.

As a car guy, i found them very poor quality in interiors and detailings..
Few years ago i went to a car show and the new teslas had a lot of defects.. Not sure if they rushed the models to the exhibition..
And the lack of physical buttons.. If you like to drive its awful having to look at a screen, let alone select stuff while you drive..

I can't disagree. What's crazy is it doesn't matter what the current state is so much because they are getting better relatively fast. Even if they suck at the things other car makers do well, then they should, if I'm right, do those thing better than other car makers eventually in addition to all the other stuff they already do better.

The possibility of growth on elctric is so much bigger than combustion..
its the future.. IF and only IF, we make the good choices regarding energy production.
I still like combustion, but have to recognize an electric motor is amazing.

It’s cool to hear the engineer and designer talk about the different features and choices that were made.
