Found time to watch a colleague’s lesson and codify her best practices. I love having the bandwidth to learn from other people and improve myself. Personally, watching her lesson made me feel like I do too much telling in my lessons. I will ask students "What's the key word here". Xin Yi naturally elicits students to say the key words and affirms them with "You're catching all the key words here". She's good at Show not Tell.
