DON’T DRINK COFFEE, SMOKE WEED

Scientists have been feeding spiders with flies imbued with different stimulants. Result? The worst cobwebs have ever been woven under the influence of caffeine/sleeping pills.

I don't know. The weed one is just a lazier normal web. Those caffeine webs are outside the box.

reply

Fruit flies may appreciate the outside-box-webs too 🤣

Our bodies are mostly water.

A newborn baby is 78 percent water. Adults are 55-60 percent water. Water is involved in just about everything our body does. It’s a big part of the blood that brings nutrients to all our cells. We use it to get rid of wastes. It helps us regulate our body temperature. It acts as a shock absorber for our brain and spinal cord. We are very dependent on water.

There’s a species of jellyfish (Turritopsis dohrnii) that is biologically immortal! 🪼✨ Instead of dying after reaching adulthood, it can revert its cells back to their earliest form and start its life cycle over again—essentially cheating death. Scientists are studying it to understand aging and potentially unlock secrets to longevity! 🤯

Where I'm from there are many ancient ruins from more than 1000 years ago in the forrest and no one cares about it. They are covered by forrest floor and hard to spot, but there are many building foundations, "hallways", etc. The forrest floor has "holes" that make no geological sense.
People just go pick mushrooms around that area, but even with a little digging you can find old artifacts.

There’s enough gold inside Earth to coat the planet
Turns out, there’s quite a bit of gold on or, really, in our planet: 99 percent of the precious metal can be found in the Earth’s core.

How much is there? Enough to coat the entire surface of the Earth in 1.5 feet of gold.
