Not sure what I’m missing as when I commented the drone had hit Chernobyl 4 or 5 hours earlier and it clearly wasn’t Ukrainian

With satellites, a known conflict, and all of the other publicly available information it isn't hard. I am not sure what else you are expecting this situation to be? You are talking about a country who invaded the other and then made the genius idea to dig trenches into highly radioactive soil killing a few hundred it is believed with countless more likely in deep trouble in the coming years because of the amount of radiation they suffered from.
