My family and I used to help out at the Vasaloppet in Mora Minnesota. It is an international cross-country ski race. It was a lot of fun and we used to like to drink the Swedish or Norwegian hot drink that they served up to the racers and spectators. It is usually held in late January or early February every year.
Nice! Vasloppet (the main race) is held first Sunday of March. And the drink is most probably the famous blåbärssoppa.
I have forgotten the name but not the taste. It was really good tasting and felt great on those cold days of the race.
