My Lunch Break is one of my favorite conspiracy-entertainment channels. its main argument is that the world we live in is being aggressively manipulated in order to maintain an illusion of being an advanced civilization while really being extremely primitive compared to the old world. the narrator suggests that advanced technology & knowledge is being slowly given back to us by the overlords. alternatively, because the previous civilization and its records were wiped out, maybe the well-meaning smart people are trying to decipher all those sparse records in order to figure out how to recreate & re-engineer everything. for a while, the medical academons have condemned the 6-digits condition as a congenital defect, an unwanted deviation from "normal" that warrants the 6th digit amputation within the first few months of life. the incidence of polydactyly is roughly 1:1000. additionally, this trait has an autosomal dominant pattern of inheritance with variable penetrance. basically, it's difficult to eradicate, but not very noticeable in the population.

in cases where polydactyls have well-formed digits, they often demonstrate more competency and creativity in some tasks compared to 5-digit-bearing people who would need both hands to complete the task, or would complete the task more slowly or in a more primitive fashion: examples are shoe-tying, playing musical instruments, coding/typing.

i have seen articles where the academons have proposed to make future hand prostheses with more than 5 digits. currently, the state-of-the-art prosthetic hands allow for about 19 degrees of freedom (DOF).

6-digits on both hands allow for much greater DOF, which not only extends to what one can do with fingers, but also to the complexity of the brain architecture. add to that the 6 digits on feet, and the capabilities of people with greater DOF's jump exponentially!

today, we may think that we can do away with feet as stumps or only thumb + index finger on our hands for smartscreen usage. with apple-vision pro goggles and liquid chairs this may as well become true. however, the previous civilization (which could have been alive as recently as 300-500 years ago, despite what the archeological academons propagandize) was much more advanced and used tools that are complex beyond our comprehension & imagination. in fact, those tools may have been wielded mainly by six-fingered humanoids. in theory, one could create a tool that can be only manipulated with a brain-hand connection that is designed for 6 fingers. this is similar to the fact that some left-handed sports equipment is extremely difficult or impossible to use by a right-handed user.

i think that if we rediscover and re-engineer the technology designed for greater DOF in hands/feet, more people will have access to amazing types of healing and creation. is it a coincidence that there are 12-24 words in bitcoin cryptography, 12 disciples, 12-24 fingered people, 12 zodiac signs, etc?
