I love the idea of not disclosing what the metric is going to be. Ideally, there would be a way to document what your choice was, but the stakes are low enough that it's not important yet.

I've proposed that Stacker News randomize the rewards parameters, because that would prevent gaming the system and potentially teach us something, too.
