Canada is very rich but our government hates the resource sector so we prefer to stay poor.

In what sense do you say that the government doesn't like the resources sector? I have the idea that they are one of your main sources of income.

reply

They do everything they can to limit, control, tax, regulate the output of the resource sector. The federal government views the resource sector as a necessary evil that is destroying the planet and treats it as such.

reply

This reminds me of back home. They've been pouring money into lithium extraction for ages, and this year the work is on hold again. This keeps happening; it's like a tradition!

Also, those are demonstrated reserves. Like Alaska, resource discovery and exploration are still very active in Canada.

reply

Yes, and the data is from 2023. I'm sure there will be more reserves.

Who is on top for water reserves?

reply
